These premium Peshtemal Turkish blanket towels are soft, sand less, high-absorbent, quick dry and take up very little space in your luggage. Multi-uses include beach towel, yoga towel, spa day, picnic blanket, baby swaddle, blanket towel for you and/or baby, or throw blanket for the sofa. Perfect for travel.
These 100% HAND LOOMED Premium Peshtemal Turkish beach blanket towels are 100% Cotton, and 100% sustainable. Our beach blanket towels contain no plastic or polyester fibers. Where most micro-fiber beach towels out in the market who claim are sand-less are clouded with polyester fibers that can potentially turn into micro plastics that can eventually litter our beaches and end up in our oceans. WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Machine wash on cold or max 30C degree with similar colors.
- Tumble dry on low / medium heat for maximum softness.
- From time to time, add a cup of vinegar to the wash… It will kill bacteria, remove any soap residue, and acts as a natural fabric softener for your towels.
- Do not use bleach.
- Do not use fabric softener. Fabric softeners contain silicone that make your towels less absorbent to water. Use vinegar instead.
Before the first use, you’ll want to soak your towels for 12 hours (or overnight) in cold water. This ensures they’ll retain maximum absorbency and softness.
After your towels soak in a cool bath for 12 hours, wring them and hang them to air dry. It’s important they air dry for the first time rather than going directly into the dryer.

I bought the towel, but fell in love with the texture and honestly thought it was serve great as a wrap. Incidentally, I did use it later as a wrap and it worked well. "The towels are incredibly soft and the sand falls right off. Also, we purchased these at a festival and forgot them at the stand! The owners immediately emailed us letting us know about our forgotten purchases, but we didn’t notice the email until days later (we thought the towels had just dropped out of our stroller at the festival). Once we realized we left them and contacted the owners, they coordinated a meetup time that worked for us so we could get our towels back. We will definitely be buying from them again!"
